Heart attack warning signs...

 As a woman, your symptoms may be more subtle.
In the center of your chest you may feel 
discomfort, fullness, tightness , squeezing or
pressure for more than a few minutes. It may
come and go.
In your upper back, shoulders, neck, jaw or
arms, you may feel a pressure or pain that spreads.
You may have shortness of breath and difficulty breathing.
You may experience dizziness, nausea, heart flutters, clammy sweats or paleness.
You may have stomach or abdominal pain.
You may have unexplained feelings of anxiety, fatigue or weakness - especially with exertion.
Take action
If you are having a heart attack warning sign:

Call 911 for an ambulance or have someone drive you to the nearest hospital emergency
room immediately. DO NOT DELAY!
Chew and swallow with water one regular full strength aspirin as soon as possible to
prevent blood clotting.
Insist that the hospital staff take you seriously and does not make you wait.
Insist that the hospital staff gives you a thorough cardiac evaluation, including an
electrocardiogram (EKG) or an echocardiogram and a blood test to check your cardiac
enzymes.
